LESSON RATES 30 minute lesson $60.00, payable in sets of four lessons ($240.00) 45 minute lesson $90.00, payable in sets of four lessons ($360.00) 60 minute lesson $120.00, payable in sets of four lessons ($480.00)
For very young students, two students may arrange to split the 30 minute lesson.
The above prices are for lessons in your home in the Chicago/North Shore area. Payment is due at the beginning of each month.
BOOKS Beginner and intermediate books cost about $8.00 to $10.00 each (usually 2 to 4 books per year). Some jazz books and other advanced material may be in the $10.00 to $20.00 range.
SCHEDULING POLICY Weekly lessons are vital to student progress. We will schedule a regular weekly time slot for each student. Although we try to be flexible to accommodate occasional rescheduling, this is at each teachers discretion.
LESSON BREAKS If you take a month or more off from lessons, we will try to resume with the same instructor and day/time, but be aware that this is not always possible.
OBSERVING LESSONS Parents of young students are always welcome to observe lessons. Parental involvement is an important factor in keeping young students interested.
PARENT/GUARDIAN POLICY For students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present in the home during the lesson.
CANCELLING LESSONS We require 30 days written notice to cancel lessons. There is no refund for unused lessons.
